The last hunt of the year? September 7, 2010
Hello everyone,
After a month of inactivity I was fortunate to have some nice thunderstorms last night. Initially, I wanted to get to my spot in the Holy Spirit to have a nice view, but a horrible headache kept me in my impulses. Fortunately, Advil have taken effect just in time to catch the first 2 cells that are abatues on Terrebonne or at 20:30 and 9:10 p.m..
This hunt was not very exaustive, but I can console myself by these pictures that I offer.
Note that in some photos the sky is blue (and some lightning), indicating the presence of hail in the cells observed.
Although I remain optimistic, I think it was my last chance this year to satisfy my wildest dreams in photography. Despite a rather ugly side of summer storms, I am satisfied with the results and I'm crossing my fingers that summer 2011 is still better than the ending.

Not content with having made a spectacle (by tapping on the table and gesturing in anger) to all spectators who looked up to the offices of the club after the evening Evan Bush on Aug. 11, Joey Saputo has decided to invite the media to respond to a press release ignited in the early weeks of gloomy side of the Saputo Stadium.
This press release announced that the president had confidence in his coaching staff, but the players had not met expectations: "The players, veterans such as newcomers, are the sole responsibility of the current position in the team standings. The players have not met expectations so far this season. They should look in the mirror and ask if they could do more. Some players are far from convinced us that they deserve their place in the club in Major League Soccer in 2012, and in 2011, when we prepare our entry in MLS. "
Dur. But we did not see anything. El Presidente out the big guns in the media and throws fastballs in all directions: Pizzolitto is not a good captain, Rocco Placentino mocks the club and supporters, Gerba is crap, Testo and Jordan are not leaders, Roux takes for granted all that ... Well, imagine that you tell them, Joey? No, you did not tell them? Tabar aaah ... I thought that you would have enjoyed your visit to the locker room Wednesday to do ...
In sum, Joey Saputo, protecting his coach (and his technical director), Mark Dos Santos passed for pet the teacher in front of all the players. You can imagine the next arrival in the locker room to face a "bad captain" who gave his entire career, his sweat and blood to the Montreal Impact? Here he is in trouble, poor Mark.
Furthermore, players are the problem, ok, fine, but who led them, those players? Who decided in the wake of the 2009 championship, now that our band of outcasts was the right group to defend our title? Who has not seen through the smokescreen of the Champions League and the 2009 championship, which was, it must be admitted, even ordinary bad? Who has not seen that can compete in more national championships the past two seasons? The bad captain? The guy who makes fun of the club and fans? Roux? Fuck it.
Meanwhile, in offices, we take it easy. Those who have not deigned to release a small little more money to keep Stefano Pesoli Montreal wash their hands. Those damn Byers out for being late to a team dinner open a small bottle of red wine, laughing in their beards. Health, Roberto Brown, wherever you are!

Let us find someone who has contacts and we will dig up real good players, not people who have no balls and who exhibit their only transfer more or less convincing (Billy) as a trophy for us forget the long list of decisions crap they have taken before and after it.

What is the real problem?
Well, okay, the Impact is having great difficulty when it comes to scoring goals. When we manage to create chances, it's shambles at the net, misfires, posts, repeatedly missed the head, assumed a wedding party scorer ... In fact, things are going badly or very badly. That is so wrong that some see it.
By cons, can anyone claim that this is the main problem of the team? No. And the match on 7 August in Cary, is a striking example. While everyone continues today to talk about the "lack of offensive" Impact, we must recognize that this time, the gulls have created many opportunities and the lack of realism has played tricks on them. However, Montreal has lost this match because of a defense (let's not mince words) crappy. The central hinge, as would anyone want to acknowledge the efforts of Aaboubou, is gone. Pizzolitto misfire, and so goes the captain, so goes the ship, it seems. Right, Braz, not a game off the pace all evening, with its recent period of inactivity to injury, but also to its limited use before his injury in Rochester (one says he s else?). On the left, because De Roux, our mid-offensive-converted-to-left defender favorite, was not there, Billy, the only one of the defensive corps that has not appeared in the field too ...
Brief The defense, once the backbone of the Impact, no longer follows. It is average or bad. And most worrisome is it's like that since April. So what have we made as an adjustment to fix the problem? It turned Joqueviel (for personal reasons) and Pesoli (for a few handfuls of dollars), the two most promising central defenders in the history of the club, according to several ... If the addition of Charles Wesley is a good thing after all (which was made only in the urgency of the moment), obviously, no solution in the medium or long term were considered. And when you think Vincello (best Impact defender in his final season in 2007, remember) has still not been adequately replaced, this concern.
In sum, the real issue of Impact is perhaps not where everyone thinks. In fact, it may not even be on the field.

Hello everyone, After a
Just over a month of fruitless hunting (hence my lack of message, I did not post my failures, I find it disheartening!), here's a squall line will peak at just the right place at the right time . Was August 5, 2010, over Montreal, 8:50 p.m. ET between 22h.
My hunt was a huge distance ... 800 roundtrip! In fact, I was often the fringe of the northern boundary of the cell here in Terrebonne. I just had to find the first endroti uncluttered (between the bus terminal and the new fire station, all within 400m from my house!) And voila!
The show was simply breathtaking. of crawlers per tonne including several that I have gone over the head. Unfortunately, I could not fit them properly, because it would have had I have and use a lens super wide-angle (believe me, it's now on my wish list!).
So without further ado, I'll let you see the storm in pictures ....

Then I trust our players. Most guys who are there today have had their ups and downs with the Impact. They know how to stand up and darken. In addition, a short detour to training this morning I can tell you they do not, they do not panic. The atmosphere is good, it is allowed even a few laughs between exercises, including a good slap behind the head of Pastel courtesy of Ali Gerba. Otherwise, it worked this morning seriously. The desire is there, the morale too.
And I have confidence, because I have too often seen the Impact dominate the regular season and then crumble in the playoffs without power provide a logical explanation to such a tragic outcome.
And finally, I am confident because, yes, we have a crappy season, but this is the third in a row, do not forget. In 2008, while our Gulls won their only point gleaned at Toronto FC, thereby clinching the title of Canadian champion, the team sat in last place in the USL-1. In 2009, dated August 1, we had a record of 3 wins, 8 losses and 6 draws (to 3-8-5 this season). In both cases, the rest is history, a series filled with memorable moments.
Admittedly, this would be a bit simplistic to rely on the events of the last two seasons to pretend that everything will be okay by the end of the 2010 season. For cons, the last two seasons show that it is useless to climb the curtains, weeping all the tears from his body. Given the series system currently in place in D2, the season is just beginning ...
